Greetings Everyone! My name is Joshua Anderson and I am the chapter president for the Upsilon Gamma chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. I am originally from Clarksville, TN although I graduated from high school in Woodbridge, VA. I am currently in my third year at Richmond and I am majoring in Leadership on a pre-PA track minoring in Biology. My favorite thing to do in free time is dance and workout. In the chapter, one of my favorite things that we do is the annual bowling trip that we take. Over the past few years my performance hasn’t been great but this year I’m looking for a perfect score #300. This year we have some very excited events for the campus community to get involved with and we hope to see you there!
I am very pleased to report that the chapter is working very closely with Brother Michael Johnson, Brother Jamar Washington, and Brother Tyler York to develop new initiatives; one of which is our new web presence.
Over the course of the past year, Brothers Quincy McKoy, Marius Young, Tyler York, Michael Johnson, Jamar Washington, and Michael Amanuel have each provided input and leadership in the development of ideas that have lead to what we hope will be a firm foundation for the chapter.
It is a tremendous honor to present this website as it tells the history of our fraternity and beloved Upsilon Gamma chapter, highlights the hard work that our brothers continue to undertake, and serves as a conduit for a stronger bond between our chapter and alumni brothers. Please take a moment to peruse the entire site, and feel free to give us your feedback.
FIRST of all, SERVANTS of all, we shall TRANSCEND ALL.
